Community Programs
At Safety City, we offer numerous Safety Programs for Red Deer and surrounding communities. We have one-day programs, summer camps and even offer birthday parties that are sure to excite everyone! Allow your children, aged 4-12, to come explore the Streetscape and our mini-buildings, see what is inside of the Big Red Barn, and learn how to escape safely from a pseudo-fire in Sparky’s House. Empower your children with knowledge about staying safe in varying life-like situations.

Traffic & Pedestrian Safety
During this 90 minute school program, street safety lessons are presented in the classroom using an interactive story board depicting a neighbourhood. Children learn to safely cross the street, the meaning of various road signs, and how to read a set of traffic lights. Outdoors on the streetscape for the final hour, children practice their new skills as drivers and pedestrians.
Bicycle helmet required. Children must be 5-10 years old to ride the quads.
Cost: $125/per group. 20 students per group. Parent welcome to attend with child. Watch for availability in 2023!
Dates available: May & June
